The Andalusia Rotary Club was organized on December 1, 1920, under Charter #4063.

Through the year, Rotary has encouraged its members to get involved in community activities, and they have lead the way in organizing a Chamber of Commerce, The United Fund, J. G. Scherf Memorial Foundation, The Andalusia Hospital and The Andalusia Health Services, Inc.

Rotarian's leadership and interest can be seen in:

• Boy Scout Troop #45
• Covington County's Junior Miss
• International Arion Award to outstanding Students in band and choral groups
• Scholarships to LBW College, and Troy University
• Camp ASCCA (Alabama's Special Camp for Children and Adults)

In 1976, the Rotary Club began sponsoring the World Champion Domino Tournament® giving the membership an opportunity to render a service and for the Club to contribute to several worthy causes.
